How Much Does SEO Cost for a Gutter Company?
Updated
SEO for a gutter company usually costs a monthly fee, and the price depends mostly on how many services and towns you want to rank for and how competitive your market is. Loom+Logik plans run from $495 to $1,875 per month, month to month, with no setup fees.

What drives the cost
SEO is not priced like a product with one sticker. It is priced by how much work it takes to move your company up in Google Maps and search. A few things decide that.
- How many keywords you target. Each keyword is a service paired with a town, like "gutter guards Roswell." More keywords means more links and content to build. This is the biggest driver of price.
- How many towns you serve. A cleaner in one town needs far less work than an installer covering a whole metro.
- How competitive your market is. Big metros with national guard brands, lead sites, and many local installers take more authority to break into than a small town with three gutter companies.
- Where you start. A company with a complete Business Profile, steady reviews, and real service pages starts ahead of one with a bare profile and a one-page website.
- What is included. Some services only build links. Others add content, profile management, or website changes. More scope, more cost.
When you compare quotes, compare the same things: how many keywords, which towns, and what work is done each month. Two quotes at very different prices may be for very different amounts of work.
Monthly retainers vs. one-time projects
Most gutter companies pay for SEO as a monthly retainer. A few agencies also sell one-time projects, like a profile cleanup or a website audit. Each has a place.
One-time projects fix things that only need fixing once. Setting the right Business Profile categories, cleaning up old listings with the wrong phone number, or adding missing service pages are good examples. You pay once and the fix stays.
Monthly retainers pay for the work that never really finishes: building authority links, adding content, and tracking rankings. Your competitors keep working on their rankings every month. If you stop, they catch up. Prominence, the part of Google's ranking that comes from links and mentions, is built steadily over time, not in one burst.
A good setup often uses both: a quick one-time cleanup, then steady monthly work. Be wary of retainers that lock you in for a year before you have seen any ranking movement.
What should be included
Whatever you pay, you should know exactly what you are getting each month. At minimum, look for:
- A clear keyword list. You should see and approve the exact searches being targeted.
- A starting benchmark. Where you rank for each keyword before work begins, so you can measure progress.
- Regular ranking updates. Not just a monthly email that says "going well." Actual positions for each keyword.
- Off-site authority work. Links and content that build trust in your business, since that is where most ranking movement comes from.
- Support for Google Maps and organic results. Homeowners use both. Your plan should help both.
- A simple way to leave. Clear notice terms you can read in one sentence.
Every Loom+Logik plan includes authority links, content creation, Google Maps and organic support, ranking updates every 10 days, and custom reports. See how it works for the full process.
Red flags
- Guaranteed rankings. No one controls Google. Anyone who promises "number one in 30 days" is guessing, or doing something risky that can hurt your profile later.
- Long contracts. Twelve-month lock-ins mean you keep paying even if nothing moves. Good work should earn your business every month.
- No reporting. If you cannot see your rankings for your own keywords, you cannot tell whether the money is working.
- Vague scope. "We will optimize your online presence" is not a plan. Ask what work is done, on which keywords, each month.
- Very cheap packages. A price that seems too low often means low-quality links that can do more harm than good.
- Asking you to stuff your business name. Adding keywords to your Business Profile name breaks Google's rules and risks suspension.

Questions to ask any SEO provider
Before you sign with anyone, Loom+Logik included, ask these questions and write down the answers:
- Which exact keywords will you work on, and can I approve them?
- Where do I rank for each one today?
- What work happens each month, in plain words?
- How often will I see ranking updates, and what do they look like?
- Do you need my website or Business Profile logins, and why?
- How do I cancel, and how much notice do you need?
- What happens to the links and content you built if I leave?
Clear, specific answers are a good sign. If a provider dodges these questions, talks only about "visibility," or will not show you a keyword list before you pay, keep looking. The price only means something once you know what it buys.
It also helps to set your own expectations. Rankings for competitive gutter keywords usually build over months, not weeks. A fair way to judge any plan is to watch the ranking updates over the first few months: are your keywords moving in the right direction, town by town? That trend matters more than any single week.
How to decide
- List your services and towns. Count roughly one keyword per main service per main town. That tells you roughly what size plan you need.
- Know what a job is worth. If one installation job pays for several months of SEO, the math is simple. If you only do small cleanings, start smaller.
- Find out where you rank today. You cannot judge any price without knowing your starting point.
- Compare scope, not just price. Ask every provider the same questions: which keywords, what work each month, how often you get ranking updates, and how you cancel.
- Start where you can stay. Rankings build over months. Pick a plan you can keep long enough to see results, then grow it.
Whatever you choose, revisit it after a few months. If your main keywords are climbing and calls are coming in, you may want to add towns or services. If a keyword ranks but never brings calls, swap it for one that does.
The easiest first step is a free ranking audit. We will show you where you rank in Google Maps and search today, who is ahead of you, and which plan and keyword count fit your area.
